修業年限及學分要求

  • 修業年限：一至四年
  • 畢業學分：至少24學分。
  • 必修課程：依碩士班班務會議或教學暨課程規劃委員會訂定。
  • 本碩士班研究生若修習教育學程，需完成本碩士班之修業規定，始得申請教育實習。

Requirements on years of study and credit hours

  1. Years of study: One to four years
  2. Minimum credit hours: 24
  3. Required courses: According to the Meeting of the Master’s Program in
    Biomedical Sciences or the Program’s Teaching and Curriculum Planning
    Committee.
  4. If students of this Master’s Program wish to take the education-related program,
    they must complete the requirements of this Master’s Program before they can
    apply for the educational internship.

指導教授之認定

  • 以本碩士班之專任教師為原則。
  • 指導教授之認定需於指定期限內完成繳交「指導教授確認單」，由碩士班辦公室彙整後公告。
  • 必要時得召開碩士班班務會議討論指導教授認定相關事宜。
  • 指導教授之變更須填具本碩士班之「指導教授認定異動申請書」，由原指導教授及變更後之指導教授同意，經碩士班主任或碩士班班務會議確認。

Confirmation of faculty advisor

  1. The faculty advisor must be a full-time faculty member of this program.
  2. Students must submit their document of Confirmation of Faculty Advisor before
    the deadline, and the office of this Master’s Program will make an
    announcement later on.
  3. When necessary, a Meeting of the Master’s Program in Biomedical Sciences
    will be called to discuss matters related to the confirmation.
  4. In case a student requests a change of faculty advisor, the applicant must fill in
    the Request for Change of Faculty Advisor and obtain approval from both the
    current faculty advisor and new faculty advisor, and then receive final approval
    from the program director or Meeting of the Master’s Program in Biomedical
    Sciences.

逕行修讀博士學位

  • 本碩士班研究生逕行修讀博士學位之辦法悉依「慈濟大學碩士班研究生逕行修讀博士學位辦法」規定辦理。

Pursuing a Ph.D. degree before completing the Master’s Program

Students who plan to pursue a doctoral degree before completing the Master’s
Program must follow Tzu Chi University’s Procedures for Pursuing a Doctoral
Degree before Completing the Master’s Program.

學位考試

一、本碩士班學生申請碩士學位論文考試資格條件：
(一)研究生需以碩士論文成果之第一作者身份參加公開學術研討會(張貼壁報論文或口頭發表)至少1次，或發表於 SCI 期刊。
(二)提出申請之該學期已修習所有必修課程，且已修畢之科目成績達70分以上。
二、依「慈濟大學博、碩士學位考試通則」提出學位考試申請。
三、論文考試成績：
(一)考試成績以全體出席考試委員所評定分數平均計算，如有半數（含）以上委員評定不及格者，即以不通過論。
(二)論文考試成績以100為滿分，70分為及格。
四、如有未盡事宜依「慈濟大學博、碩士學位考試通則」規定辦理。

Taking the Degree Examination

  1. Eligibility:
    (1) Student must participate in related conference(s) at least once, making a
    poster or oral presentation as first author of the thesis, or publishing a
    research paper in an SCI journal.
    (2) Student has completed all required courses during the semester in which the
    application is submitted and scored 70 or more on each course.
  2. Follow Tzu Chi University’s Rules for Master’s/Ph.D. Students to take the
    Degree Examination
  3. The final oral examination score
    (1) The score is the average of scores given by all committee members present.
    If half or more than half of the members gave scores lower than 70, the
    student will be considered having failed the exam.
    (2) The perfect score is 100, and 70 is a passing score.
  4. Should there be anything relevant to the student, yet not explicitly listed in these
    guidelines, the student may refer to Tzu Chi University’s Rules for
    Master’s/Ph.D. Students to take the Degree Examination.

其他

註冊、入學、保留入學資格、休學、復學、更改姓名年齡、違犯校規之處置及應屆畢結業等如有未盡事宜，比照本校學則有關之規定辦理。

Other matters

Should anything not be mentioned explicitly in the guidelines, such as registration,
enrollment, retention of admission, leave of absence, reinstatement, change of
name or age, violation(s) of school regulations/rules, graduation requirements, etc.,
the student may refer to Tzu Chi University’s Academic Policies and Procedures.
